Too many very specific negative comments make me believe this board is trouble. Asus may get it working with a BIOS flash... someday.

If you haven't already bought it, find another board. You don't have to be the one sitting around and waiting for them to fix it.

Im not sure why you favor nVIDIA based motherboards because they have the most issues (a reason why most dont like nVIDIA based motherboards). I wouldn't consider the motherboards you have listed because a comparable intel one is much more stable and cheaper too boot (also not as power hungry).

Atm there is no point buying a socket 775 motherboard since Lynnfield/socket 1156 is hitting the market in a couple of months. If I was you and assuming that I needed to upgrade now then I would decide to go either a cheap i7 socket 1366 route, or an AMD system with a phenom II.
