ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe - AUDIO Problem

I know..it's an old board, but need help with audio.

I've spent the last month trying to get the audio to work out of the back ports. The front header works, but the back ones don't seem to be sensing it correctly. It's got to be the drivers. One version of the drivers seem to work and when I plug my speaker in it says "cannont find wave control volume". Does anyone have this board and can recommend a driver version to get it working?

my os is Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)

I went to the ASUS support site

and couldn't find any audio drivers for the Realtek ALC850 on even Vista x64. They don't even list Windows 7 x64 for this old board.

Are you going to the Realtek website?

has the R2.55 release software for High Definition audio codecs. Is that the software you have been using?
