Like a lot of other people I'm replacing my old Athlon 64 939 / AGP system when the Q6600 drops in price later this month and I can't quite decide on a motherboard.

-I will be overclocking everything.
-I'll have 2 DIMMs to start, but overclocking stability with 4 DIMMs is a major plus.
-I'll be getting a single 8800GTX, but a second one down the road to drive my 24 incher might be nice.
-Penryn support a must.
-2 NICs very helpful.

I think the Asus P5N32-SLI Plus which is a 650i/570 hybrid is right for me, is there any reason I should consider a P35 board instead (probably the MSI, maybe the Gigabyte)?

EVGA assured that its 680i motherboard would support Penryn processors with BIOS update. But nothing is sure about the P5N32-E SLI Plus hybrid board. You'd better choose a P35 board, either abit or GIGABYTE. MSI may be a half-baked board. Or just go with eVGA 680i, like 122-CK-NF63-TR.
