Newegg has a bunch of open box socket 775 motherboards right now, including this ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Motherboard for $188.99.

Link to motherboard.

Cannot guarantee what you'll get with it....pretty much hit or miss. I've ordered open box parts from Newegg before and gotten them looking like brand new...sometimes still sealed...and other times, esp. with motherboards, I've just gotten the board.

With motherboards, typically the drivers aren't a problem....just download from the mfgr's website. Cables....well, who doesn't have a half-dozen sitting around? The other stuff? Sometimes you can order whatever from the mfgr.....sometimes you can't. Luck of the draw here. But at least you can RMA it!

FWIW...I recently ordered 2 "open box" mobos from newegg. A Gigabyte DS3 and an ASUS P5N-E SLi (which I am playing with right now) and both have come with ALL accessories that come in a retail box. Both boards have performed very well so far.

I think the original retail price is only a little bit more, this might not be worth the risks. but still good find OP!

I mean ASUS warranty...does it have one?
Therein lies the rub. There is NO manufacturer's warranty, according to Newegg: Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Newegg.com) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law.

I've bought two open box boards from Newegg in past years, both Asus, both fine (although neither came with accessories, not even I/O shields). Still, those boards were around $40 to $50. At the price level here, considering the risks, I'd rather buy a new 650i based board under full warranty and with all accessories...

I bought an open-box ds3 v1.0 F10 bios (newest bios) on newegg last week for $95 shipped, and it came in the retail box w/ all accessories, and has performed well for me for the last week and a half (have my e6600 running 3.45ghz right now, and still climbing every day).
