I just finished buildingmy new computer: Asus p5n-e sli, Intel Core2 quad Q6600, 2X Nivida 8600GT XXX in Sli, 4gb(currently only 2gb) OCZ Pc2 6400 SlI optimized memory, 150gb Raptor 10,000rpm hd.

Ok my question is this when I first installed everything and booted up, I could do a install of vista home prem. 64 but when It reboot to do the final installation I got a blue screen of death, after much head ache I removed one of my 2gb sticks and reinstalled and it works flawlessly. what do I have to do to get it to read both 4gb sticks? note I have yet to reboot after it started working (i guess I'm a little scared).

In the BIOS:

Set memory voltage and timings manually.

Set the overclocking to Unlinked.

Set the frequencies for the CPU as 1066 and memory as 800.

Increase the Northbridge Voltage to 1.56V - make sure that you have a fan attached to the NB heatsink.

Hope this helps. If it doesn't, set the memory frequency to 667MHz.

And do the Vista installation with the 2GB of RAM ONLY - then dlownload the patch from MS, and add the remaining 2GB.

Good luck!
