Hi guys!! Im new here to these forums.
The P5N-D and Q6600 setup appears to be a very popular quad core budget rig, which is growing more and more in popularity.

If anyone wants to push their P5N-D and Q6600 to a good speed on air...here are my settings...im posting them b/c i got a stable oc on this setup which A LOT of people are having trouble withh all over the net...here is my post from blazingpc.com

Hope the new guy can shed some new light for some of you new P5N-D/Q6600 owners...

I have a Q6600 but i have that new 750i Asus P5N-D mobo.

Ill give you my settings and then you can work from there....just dont bump up the voltage too high...

check my rig specs on the left to see what im using hardware wise.

Ive achieved 3.52ghz stable...ran orthos for 4 hours and was fine. Took my stock 3dmark score of 1120 and bumped it up (after oc'ing my gpu) to 15350..

FSB 1565 (392x4)
I use the linked method with sync mode for my ratios. (currently 1:1)
..which set mem to 782.5mhz with a timing of 4-4-4-12

For voltages:

Vcore - 1.41325v
DRAM - 2.110v
HT - 1.44v
NB - 1.44v
SB 1.56v

GOOD LUCK!!! HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

You might want to try running Orthos for a couple of O/N runs, once in "blend" mode and once in "small FFT" mode, to really check the stability...

Memory Unlinked
FSB 1600
Vcore-1.39v(1.4375 in bios)
Dram 2.1v
HT-1.48
NB-1.48
SB-1.60
