I'm getting an bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off error during the ubuntu installation. I've been reading their forums and many mentioned that it's doesn't know which HD I want to install onto although I only have one plugged in right now.
Right now I have a regular IDE HD plugged into the primary IDE slot, another HD on SATA 1 and a dvdr on secondary IDE. Is there anyway to get the bios to recognize the SATA drive as primary? I've tried unplugging the HD attached to the primary IDE slot but still no go.
Any suggestions?
