I have just put together a system with the Asus P5L-VM 1394 and a OCZ 2x512 dual channel pack (1GBKDDR220800GX) and what ever FSB or memory divider I set, I get an error report from Memtest86+ after like 4 hours. ( Adress: 0003478b13c, 839.6MB, bit: 00008000) Timings are set manually according to memory spec. When set to single channel, I can run the whole night without probbs.
Could this motherboard just be incompatible with these memory modules in dual channel mode? I guess I can't return anything since I guess nothing really is broken here... Any advice/ideas?
