Hi,

I've just bought Windows 7 64bit home premium, and decided to do a fresh install.

I have an Asus P5KC board, and am not sure which chipset drivers I should use. On the Asus site the closest I can get to Win 7 64bit is Vista 64bit.

Anyone know which chipset drivers I should use? Also, should I update my bios to the latest version?

Thanks for all help.

ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/SATA_Controller/Windows/JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.62_WHQL.zip (driver will only report drives connected to BIOS or option ROM designated eSATA port as removable)

Windows Update should also have some recent drivers if you change the settings to include optional/recommended updates.

Thanks so much for the information and links!

This is almost certainly a noob question; I understand the need for chipset and LAN drivers, but what about the other drivers you link? I'm not familiar with what Intel Matrix/RST storage, and what the drivers in the last two links do. I'd be grateful for clarification.
