Hello,
I bought the ASUS P5K PRO motherboard.
The vendor sent me the normal ASUS P5K motherboard by mistake. I attempted to run two 500GB disks in RAID configuration using this motherboard only to discover that only one of the RAID controllers were located internally and that the other was located externally (on the backside of the motherboard). Thus if I want to run RAID with two internal disks I have to somehow run a cable back inide the case from the outside. This is not an option for me.
Now the vendor is sending me the correct ASUS P5K PRO Card and I am attempting to figure out if this card has the same setup or if it does support two INTERNAL raid SATA connectors?
I can't seem to find this information on the internet anywhere. Does anyone know?
Thank you for reading my post.
Regards,
