Hai guys !

I just bought the Asus P5k Deluxe Wifi-Ap edition motherboard. My processor is not here yet.

I have ordered an Intel E6850 core2duo @ 3.0 ghz processor. I checked my motherboard and it says near the name of the motherboard Rev 1.00G.

I dont know what version of bios it has because i dont have a processor yet.

In asus site i saw the board must have a BIOS version 0311 or above to support E6850 .


What Am i supposed to do? What the motherboard bios version is less than 0311. In that case will my system boot?

What should be expected and what should i do if something goes wrong?
