The Saturday paper deals are USUALLY good until Tuesday.
It'll say 'one day sale' or something otherwise.
However for really popular items they may well run out of stock Saturday.
The p5k deluxe looks like a nice board from all reviews I've read.
I mail ordered one a couple of weeks ago and it looks nice enough in person too.
I'm still waiting for a CPU for it, though.... August...
The only P5K downsides I know of --
I saw one report that shows that the P5K Deluxe runs REALLY HOT (like meltdown
100C temperatures) under the CPU and near the MOSFETS along the corners
of the board, though, despite the copper cooling fins and heat pipe near the MOSFETs.
The somewhat comparable new Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 evidentally runs a lot cooler
(the article was a comparison of the two with IR thermal camera
temperature measurement images of both running boards).
So I'm kind of disappointed in the P5K's cooling / heatpipes / MOSFETs, I'd expected
it to run cool with all the copper heatsinks / pipes. Putting some small fans to blow
air around and UNDER the CPU/VRM area of the mother board would be good.
Also consider using the included VRM blower fan thing for at least one
set of the VRM heatsinks unless you have better airflow for the VRM based on your
case / CPU fan airflow etc.
Also apparently the original very early couple of P5K BIOSs were junk, so it's
good to update to the latest version to resolve a couple issues according to some
folks at xtremesystems forums.
Good luck.
