Asus P5gd2 vcore voltage question

I select 1.385 for vcore voltage in bios, But it actually reads anywhere from 1.44-1.48 using Asus Probe and/or bios. This is a P4 520. Why is this?
 
I suppose it could be a BIOS problem that you my need to update. It could also be an asusprobe problem. I don't think that such a big fluctuation is natural.
