Asus P5E3 WS pro

Hi,
I have a problem with my MOBO which is Asus P5e3 ws pro
First of all , i had to make bios update to regognized my DDR3 at 1800.
When i put the RAM memory at 1800 i get Blue screens or my vista after logon crashes

My Hardware is :
MOBO : Asus P5E3 WS pro (bios update 0502)
CPU : core 2 Duo E8400 (45nm)
Ram : SuperTalent W1800UX2GP (1800Hz) (2G)
Video Cards : 2 x HD 8750 (crossfire)
HD : Western Digital Raptor 150 GB ( 10000 )
any suggestion ?

the asus forums can be particularly helpful when identifying problems with hardware compatibility.

It may be that your RAM won't be fully supported until another firmware update is released.

For example on the P5E with X38 chipset, DDR2-1066 is not very well supported. Some have had success and some have not.

Try for now to use only 1 stick of RAM, if that works then move your 2 sticks of RAM to different slots.


But, I highly recommend posting to the asus forums if you haven't already.
