Hello, I'm using ASUS P5E3 motherboard with Q9550 pushed to 3.8Ghz with 1.55 NB voltage and what I'm worried about is its temperature (the northbridge one).
I'm using the stock ASUS heat pipes.
The mobo lacks a NB temperature sensor, there's some "System" temperature reading, but I'm really not sure if that is the one. I'm able to to measure the temperature of the base of the heatsink above the northbridge using Zalman ZM-MFC2 and after ~1hour of prime blend it reads 49-50C with ambient 23C. How close to the real nb temperature could that be?
Thanks.
