I'm creating a new system for high gaming performance and also for software development (.NET).

I will be using a intel Q6600 with the Asus P5E motherboard.

I have choosen to use 4GB of memory because I will be using MS SQL server 200-5/8.
I'm considering the Corsair Dominator PC8500 QuadX (4x1GB)

For gaming I want to overclock my FSB to run the CPU on 3.0 Ghz.

I've been told that overclocking perfomance may drop when all the memory slots are occupied. Does anyone have some experience with this configuration or some ideas?
