I will be trying many different boards in the future and just want people insight.
Actually, moosey was right on the money. Motherboards, hard drives, processors--hell, pretty much every hardware there is now. You pick something you like, and go with it. There are bad boards within every manufacturer, and even within the exact same models, YMMV. Pck something you like, get it with a warranty, and go for it.
Your question for this topic is much better than the "top recommended mobos", because the later is such an open question, it's impossible to answer. Also, take into consideration that any motherboard that is so new that it doesn't have reviews out for it, is so new that any kinks haven't been worked out either. So there are going to be more than a few problems with the motherboard--this goes with any new hardware and the ones that adopt early technology know this (just ask anyone with a 680i mobo, and they'll atleast be aware of it).
Take it easy, and don't dump on someone that doesn't give you exactly what you want. At the very least, appreciate the bump to the thread.

Good luck on picking your new mobo, for which ever box. And speaking of which, what is this other machine for exactly?
