Asus P5B-E in single channel mode???

Hi, i have just installed 2 1024MB G.Skill Rams in my new Asus P5B-E motherboard.
I used "Channel A", the two (one black, one yellow) slots nearer to the CPU socket.

Is that wrong, as BIOS lists the memory as running in single channel mode?

Do i have to use equally colored slots in different channels?

Thanks

OK, putting them in equally colored slots on different channels makes them run in "Dual Channel Interleaved" mode?

Is that what i want?
