Asus P5B-E eSATA won't see drive

I picked up a WD Mybook ES with eSATA and USB. I also bought an eSATA cable.
My motherboard has an Esata connector on it, but for the life of me I can't get it to even see the drive. USB is no problem. The documentation is less then helpful.
Anything I should try?
I have the latest Jmicron drivers installed.

May be you have to configure it like a RAID?
