Asus P5B Deluxe problems - fix or replace?

So I flashed my BIOS the other day to try to correct a problem I was having. I used Asus's Windows based utility, but it failed. Now my computer won't boot. I tried pretty much everything I've found online (reset CMOS, put the BIOS file on a flash drive/CD and booted up to try to get CrashFree to kick in, pulled the videocard and did the same, etc.). So I have a couple of questions that I would really appreciate help with.

- Is there something else I should try to fix it? I'm not sure if I can just replace the BIOS chip easily.
- If not, does anyone know where I can buy a P5B Deluxe? I don't think it's made anymore, so I'll have to get one used. I don't really want to switch board models, because then I'll probably have to reinstall Windows.

I went from a P5B Deluxe to a P5K Deluxe and Vista had no problems with the change and automatically picked up the new devices and chipset. I'd expect that if you switch to another Intel chipset based MB that it should be a hassle-free transition.
