Are you talking about the jumpers?

The only blue "connectors" I see are the PCIe slot and the USB headers. If you're talking about the jumper, then yeah, it's probably pretty important. Check the manual for what that jumper is.

If it's one of the USB headers, then you're fine without that, just make sure none of the pins are bent and contacting other pins.

I am sorry about the link. But i was able to fix my motherboard. What i did was take out the motherboard battery and started the computer without the battery. It gave me a checksum error and then it posted and went into windows. after this the motherboard adjusted the settings automatically somehow. I just shut down the computer and then put the battery back in. And the error was gone. Thank you Concillian for your post.
