I just got an ASUS "P5AD2 Premium" 925X Chipset Motherboard and LGA 775 at 3.4Ghz. I have put 1 Western Digital Raptor in it with a gig of CORSAIR VALUESELECT 240-Pin DDR2 PC2-4200. I also got an ATI X800 XT PCI-X video card. And an ANTEC ?Neo? power supply. I put it all together and could not get it to POST, or even show up on my monitor. So I thought I might be the Video Card or Mobo so I sent both of them back for new ones. Got new ones and now it will still not POST or display anything. When powered on all of the case fans spin, as well as the CPU fan. The small light on the Mobo also lights up. Some times when I turn on the computer all of the fans spin for like 10sec?s and then all go off with out me touching them or the computer at all. But that happens very rarely. Any ideas? This is driving me nutz.

What version CPU is it (3.4E,F,Extreme, etc..)

Is the Corsair RAM Single or Double-sided?
What configuration are then in (i.e. 256, 512, 1 gig modules)

Did you try clearing the CMOS?

The CPU is an Intel LGA775 Pentium 4 550 3.4 GHz with a Prescott core. The Corsair ram is two 1Gb sticks. I do not know how to clean the CMOS. How Would I do that?

There is a jumper that you can use near the battery.

Jumper CLRTC1 should be set to pins 2-3 for 10 seconds (better to leave it a minute or so).

Also, remember to remove the power cord before jumpering or it will have no effect.

Did you mean you have 2 512mb sticks of ram for 1gb or did you mean you have
2gb of ram?
