Asus p5a

It seems i read recently that the latest bios for the p5a (1007) hinders the performance more than the previous bios revisions.is there anyone here that can attest to that. I would like to get some feedback before i flash an upgrade to my bios.

I had an Asus P5A-B with BIOS 1008 on it.. It was no diff than the original one that I had... I know the -B is different but it's essentially the same mobo.. I doubt there will be any issues with updating I had no problems at all.
