ASUS P5A BIOS 1011.003 - shutdown problem

Hello,

I updated my ASUS P5A (version 1.04) BIOS to version 1011.003, to get support for K6-III+. It works fine, except the Windows 98 SE shutdown, which worked with BIOS 1007.A now causes a reboot.

This is a fresh install of Win98, ACPI selected by "setup /pj", nothing added. Win ME had the same problem.

Any ideas?

I think there is a fix for it at Microsoft. for SE and ME. Someone chime in and point to the link.
