Hello all! I'm currently looking at the P4T533 Retail, but there are 3 versions over at NewEgg. The P4T533-C lacks the RAID, but has an extra 2 RIMM slots, but that's all that sets that board apart from the 2 others. Then there is the two models that are labeled the same, have the same features, but they are priced differently. My question is what is the difference between this board and this one? All I can see is price, however, the box on the cheaper one says it supports 3+GHz CPUs...maybe one version supports Hyper-Threading?

For reference, here is the link to the P4T533-C.

BTW, I have some RIMMS and an extra P4 CPU, may as well put them to use. :)

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

????????You do know those use the 3200/4200 rimms. Not PC-800 only desktop board I know of that uses the memory.

Looks like two different revisions. The only difference I see between the two is that the lesser priced board has yellow capacitors buy the rimm slots.

You better go with the P4T533-"C" version if you have 16bit RDRAM (must be used in pairs). I personally went with the PC4200 32bit because the latency is considerably better.

Yeah go for the P4t-533C one if you got pc-1066. If you shop around they sell the p4t-533 with one 32bit 256mb rimm included. Here's a place that has the combo. p4t533+rimm
