Asus P4SGX-MX SDRAM support

Asus P4SGX-MX SDRAM support:
Board should support DDR or PC133 SDRAM
Any ideas why it works with PC2100 DDR and P4 1.6A and does not work with PC133 CL2 SDRAM?
Latest BIOS, cleared CMOS.

I need to recover old PC (office type, no gaming) and re-use 512MB PC133 SDRAM.

Edit: I just got it working with PC100 RAM, but can't get with PC133?

Thank you

The difference in the numbers indicates that one module has four chips whereas the other has eight chips. So it does sound like the four-chip module is of a higher density that your board objects to. A guy just can't win some days... 😛

The module CT32M64S4D7E has 16 chips, 8 on each side.....
I don't know about CT32M64S8D7E.

This is exactly what I had during last 2 weeks.. I hope it is going to change...
At least I am running P4 2.4A on MSI 865PE-NEO-2 and Windows XP installation survived motherboard transplant.
I was really close to say: "DUDE, JUST GET A DELL"
