Asus P4SDX continuous beeping noise and no boot up! please help

Hi my friend has Asus P4SDX 655 chipset board and when he turns on his computer it makes a continuous beeping noise then after about 15 seconds the noise stops for a bit and starts again for almost "continuous period of time" before stopping for a bit and starting again and so on. We tried using different RAm, reset the CMOS jumper still nothing....any ideas? Should we take out the cpu and put it back in?

Well I don't know if this helps but according to my manual for the Asus A7N8X you will get continuous beeps when the motherboard cannot detect the DRAM or when the CPU is overheating. Now, I don't know if this applies to your friends motherboard as it is quite different to the A7N8X. However, since they are both made by Asus I'm asuming the error messaging should be the same.
