Hello,
I'm going to change my PC's case next month, and while I have chosen what to buy there's a large problem... My PC is of HP brand. Meaning, with HP's usual suckiness I get no user manual whatsoever with the hardware installed. This is the first time I'm gonna change the case of a PC.
I haven't tried asking thier customer support if they can give me the mobo's user manual. But from experiences that my friends had, I highly doubt that they're going to give me one.
My P4 Prescott is currently idling at 38C, with the fan at full speed, and 45-60C at full load. While it's idling temps aren't really bad, at full load though... it's a different topic. Plus, it's not even overclocked since the mobo's BIOS had either disabled or that HP thinks that overclocking does not exist.
On to the main topic, my question is that can someone help me in figuring out where the connections go and such? I'm going to get the Aspire X-Cruiser, and looking at its installation instructions there are connections that can only be found out where by looking at the Mobo's user manual. Things like "Power SW" "+P LED" "-PLED" those things are things that I don't where to go.
I'm going to try to trace connections and see where they go later. Also here's the Mobo's website/information page that contain's the Mobo's layout and a low-resolution photo of the mobo if that helps: P4SD-LA
Thanks for the help.
