I'm getting a "system failed memory test" vocal POST message all of a sudden. Computer was left on overnight & when I attempted to "wake" it, no cursor, no nothing. System was shut down & when restart was attempted, the vocal POST message in question sounded.
Memory was removed, reseated & system was restarted & "DEL" key was depressed during restart, but message alerted me again.
Any idea besides what's shown in the manual? (Check memory, test memory)
Thanks in advance.

How many sticks of RAM do you have? If you have more than one, you should test each separately one at a time to isolate if it is RAM.

You might want to try reseating the other cards in your system as well.

Your system may have defaulted to the original bios settings, causing the speech reporter alert. I would try to get into the bios and restore the settings to what you had before the crash. Check the voltage and memory settings and increase as necessary. Also, try a different power supply if you can.

Just one stick, unfortunately.
I'll try reseating the other cards, tho.

I'll try this as well.
Perhaps this will give me an excuse to purchase the power supply i've had my eye on for a while now.
