I just assembled an Asus P4S533-MX system. I could not get it to post. The green power light is lit on the motherboard and the cpu and chasis fan are spinning. When the system is powered on there is NO beep at all and no video. (Tried the onboard VGA port and I put in a GFX3 card in the AGP slot with the same result.)
I disconnected all items (HD, CD etc) and still the same result. Are there any other tests I could run to make sure it is a dead motherboard before I send it back to newegg?
What could cause this other than a dead motherboard? (I tried this with RAM in and took it out also)
