Tried to install my new P4PE last night, but it would not power up. I tried hooking up mobo outside case in case of a short. Cleared CMOS. Verified in another rig that my Ram, and PSU are functioning. It appears the red AGP warning LED is on. This prevents you from installing a 3.3V Video card. My Video cared is a leadtek Gf4 Ti 4200. should operate at 1.5V. Anyway tried everything won't power up. Any suggestions?

I had my P4PE built up 2 weeks ago
and I use GF4 Ti 4600
Everything worked perfectly on first boot.

Yep, you are right. The APG only support 1.5V AGP card.

Is your AGP card "fully" plugged into the slot and lockable with the latch ?
Can you also try to verify if your AGP Video card is working fine ?
May be in the meaning time, also try to check if other jumpers and connectors to the mobo are correct ?

Wish you good luck and find out the root cause soon.
Happy trying. :)

ha!!
same thing happened to me. turned out that the new fancy power suply that i got was bad.
checked it with a spare that i had laying around.
now i'm running sweet on my p4pe and 2.4.
you might want to try that. but the red led being on is troubling. mine is not on and i am running a gf4 4600.
good luck

first thing i would do is check videocard in another system
even if it posts with teh videocard in it, tahts good enough proof that it works

//edit
