Asus P4PE POST error?

Hi guys,

I have been occasionally getting this error message during POST: "Hardware Monitor found an error. Enter Power setup menu for details."

It only happens on a cold boot. If I hit F1 to continue it's fine. If I go into setup I can't find anything about it. I looked everywhere. If I shut down, turn it off, and boot it back up cold it doesn't appear again until maybe the next day. Everything is stock, no overclocking. Any idea what this could mean? Am I missing something?

Look in the area where it shown the fan speeds and voltages. I had the same with mine last night when I installed a new power supplu and hooked the fans up. It did not like the speed of the Antec quiet fan. All you have to do is disable the monitoring of it in the bios.

Oh is that it? Thanks man. I'll look into it tonight. I have an Enermax PS that's plugged into my mobo so that's probably it.

I had the same porblem and pastorjay's fix is what I did too.
