Haven't tried it yet. Still playing with the betas :) As usual, the only information Asus provides us about this update is "P4PE BIOS 1002: The latest released B"

edit: Apparently, they updated the site without posting the file. "p4pe1002.zip Not Found"

I guess that means it's going to be there real soon.

edit #2: Okay, it's there now :) "Download p4pe1002.zip (448659 bytes, 2002/11/6)"

How you flash the bios w/o dos? Like MSI's Live Bios?
Which special feature makes flashing bios safe in this board?
Thanks.

You could use ASUS EZ Flash to update BIOS.

(1) Download the BIOS from ASUS and unzip it into a floppy.
(2) Write down the entire file name of the BIOS. For 1002, it's P4PE1002.AWD
(3) Reboot and insert the floopy
(4) Hold <alt> and <F2> during POST and simply follow the steps.

This feature makes updating BIOS painless and easy.

By the way, EZ Flash is built-in the BIOS firmware so no need to install or anything. Enjoy.

I've done mine twice from windows. Just download the bios, and go to ASUSupdate. Click on update from file and follow instructions. EASY ;)
