Has anyone tried the Asus bios up date to run a 800 FSB processor on a P4PE board?

Yes, and it works fine, but make sure you have RAM fast enough to match the bus speed.

No dual channel capability. Considering how long this chipset has been around now and that it can handle 800fsb chips and HT it's still fairly impressive. I'm still running a P4PE/L with a 2.4B@3ghz in one of my systems myself 🙂
