I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem, I have a LianLi PC-65 case with ASUS P4P800 Deluxe motherboard, P4 2.8Ghz HT processor, i have a WD SATA 80Gb drive & 2xWD 40GB RAID 0 hds, 1GB or COrsair PC3200 memory, 500W power supply, I have a Vantec fans plus my CPU fan is a Vantec heatsinc with TMD fan.
The problem I have is that my motherboard temperature accorcding to the ASUS probe is higher then my processor (unless I am playing games which is when the CPU temp goes up) my mobo temp reads 111F & my processor is at 97F.
If anyone has any idea of this problem I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you

The CPU temp sensor on that board reports temps about 7-9°C too low. This is a well-documented problem and you can find threads about it from about 10-11 months ago when this board was first released if you search over at OC forums or ABX forums.

I use MBM5 to monitor my temps and add 8°C of compensation to the CPU temp sensor.

Ohhh, You say your South bridge or North Bridge is frying, or a temp of over 40 C for Mobo, this may be a official problem but be warned if the problem is Really REAL. Why not open your Casing( one side ) and run thourough 3d Marks to identify if this is a Cooling problem, if not the person above me is Correct.
