I'm looking at buying an ASUS P4P800 motherboard, and I'm buying some Crucial memory for it at the same time. I want 2 512-MB DIMMs of PC2700 memory, but there are two choices at newegg:
Model listed as "8T"
Model listed as "16T"
The part numbers are: CT6464Z335.8T and CT6464Z335.16T (respectively). The Crucial website simply lists part number CT6464Z335 as a valid option for this motherboard (not the trailing 8T or 16T).
I'm assuming both are compatible with this motherboard, but there is a price difference between the two. What is the difference between these two models of memory?
Many thanks in advance!
