hi :0
i was reading the review of this board on firing squad and it stated the following:

Double-sided x16 DDR DIMMs are not supported and neither is a three-DIMM configuration. The third module would simply be ignored in dual-channel mode

i have a stick of double sided 512 DRR 333 Samsung memory - is this what they are talking about when they say double sided x16? i am not a memory expert so although it does sound like it is i want to make sure.
if it is mine and it isnt supported are single sided 512 sticks the same price or higher? i cant even find any listed anywhere in canada.

Think they mean double sided with 16 memory chips per side. Because here's an intel list of supported memory for a different board. The board doesn't support double sided x16 dimms. Text

Ok i got it when you look at the memory specs. It usually is some megabyte x 4, 8, or 16. If your memory is 32MX16 for example it would have to be single sided. If it was double sided it wouldn't work. So as long as your memory chips are anyMx8 or 4 you can use double sided. If it's anyMx16 it has to be single sided to work with the board.
