ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE settings

Hey guys. I've been running my system (below in my sig) for about 6 months now and i'm pretty happy with it. However, I expected a little better performance opening apps (such as Photoshop, Firefox) and general quickness. I did customize some settings in my mobo initially, but no overclocking or odd memory timings (2-3-2-6).

When opening Firefox, i notice my Raptor really cranking. This makes no sense as it is a very fast HD and should blow open these apps in a sec. But it takes about 5 sec to open Firefox sometimes. I have my page file on my secondary HD (not my raptor) to take some of the pressure away.

Does anyone know of a guide online for customizing the ASUS mobo in my sig? Or any tips for my config? Thanks.
