What makes a good heat sink choice with this combo? I am unlikely to overclock and I am interested in two things: (1) as quiet as possible and (2) easy screw on HS - I do not like the clippy thing in particular.

The Zalman would be a great choice, I'm running it on my system and really like it. Quiet and keeps it cool.

I'll give the Zalman a try. The only thing that looks odd is that the Intel unit only has 2 screws. With my PAL I had to carefully go around, every other screw, to get the right, balanced pressure.

Thanks for the advice guys!

The Zalman is a good one, if space/budget is an issue; look at the

Arctic Cooling Super Silent 4 TC from SVS ($14.99) it is bigger that the stock hs/fan and clips on in seconds. I have used these in a couple of systems and they are virtually silent. I like that when the system is in idle mode the fan actually shuts off if the temp is cool.
