???
Retail new is $142. So you would expect us to run on refurbish for a savings of $12? AI, right?
Keep in mind that Asus refurbished almost certainly means nothing but a bare board, that is why you see them get sold the last of all refurbs.

Just thought I'd toss in that this is a great motherboard. I am running one now. It has *awesome* overclocking; I have my P4 2.4C @ 3.12 rock stable at the moment.

Yes, you are right, I am sorry. This is Canterwood, I was looking Springdale.
In either case keep in mind that this board will be bare. You won't be getting anything with Asus refurbish.

Plus both SATA and GbE are running off the PCI bus - not something that you want with a board this expensive.

It might be a bare board but do you see what extras will be missing? Only IDE cables and a manual basically. Its not like some boards with a bunch of add-on cards thrown in. I have had bad luck with Asus boards and wouldn't buy it, just saying if you have to buy a bare board you won't be missing much.

Price lowered to $129. 21 available.

ASUS P4C800 i875 Canterwood - Review

Pros:

6 Channel audio
USB 2.0
Gigabit LAN
1394
SATA, RAID
Voice Diagnostics
Overclocking - up to 400Mhz FSB, PCI FIX
WI-FI connector for future wireless LAN connectivity

Cons:

No SCSI
Board seems squeezed at bottom left corner of board with connectors
Placement of IDE and Floppy connector awkward
