I am having a problem where i just can not get stable ram on a mem test or a prime 59 test.

I've tried all the voltage settings... It just won't do 400 mhz and be stable.

Is there anything im missing? I have performance mode on turbo and i am not overclocking until i can get it to run stable at default.

I have kingston hyper x ddr dual channel 400mhz

Any of you with the same motherboard as me i would love to know what your bios setting are and what RAM you have.

This problem has me stumped for days now.

Thanks.

Currently my asus p4c800 deluxe bios is upgraded to the latest and greatest however my memory wouldn't pass tests if i left it at default settings.

I don't plan to clock yet until i get stable settings with default and some modifications.

As of right now my ram timings are 2-3-3-6

and my ram voltage is at 2.8

This seems the only setting that my kingston dual channel hyper x mem will run at.

Is this dangerous?

Will the high voltage kill my RAM over time?

Is there any other settings i am over looking that will cause prime 59 test to fail and memtest to fail?

Please help and give me advice.. ive been trying to fix this for weeks now.. i just want a stable computer that passes all tests.

Thanks.
