Reviews are supposed to go up for this board tomorrow, Monday, 4/14. I'd suggest waiting until then for the NDA to expire so more retailers will begin listing it. You'll probably be able to pick it up a few bucks cheaper and from a more reputable dealer.

Wow, look at that total lack of significant performance benefits.

Save the $127 and buy a 2.8ghz instead of a 2.4.

2.8/2.4 = 7/6 = 1.16, so you can probably expect at least 8% improvement in most benches as opposed to the 3-5% improvements of Canterwood over i845PE.

Not so good is putting it mildly!! 8 out of 10 on the first RR page are the most recent and they're horror stories. :Q Reminds me of ocsystem.com.

I bought a combo setup from ocsystem.com ( i know...bad move) and the only part I'm still using is the Geil PC3500 ram. It is some good stuff Maynard.


I would steer clear of both co.'s, even if it's basement bottom prices...which this Canterwood is not!
