Asus P4B533-E, game ports, a sound card, and RAID

Apparently, my motherboard game port isn't very friendly... Whenever I plug a joystick or gamepad into the onboard game port of my Asus P4B533-E motherbaord, my soundcard (A Creative Audigy) on my 3rd PCI slot, my IDE controller card on PCI slot 6, and the RAID setup I have (also onboard) no longer show up anywhere. The soundcard doesn't show up in system details or anything, and RAID and the controller card don't even load up after the BOIS (where normally they say scanning IDE devices or whatever). I couldn't find any information at all in the manual (almost like it doesn't exist...) so I couldn't figure out if there's an IRQ conflict or something. I thought it was kinda strange that three devices stopped working at once though. The jumper is set so that the game port is enabled, and as long as there's nothing plugged into the gameport, all is well. Reboot the computer with a joystick plugged in (or even an empty cable, for that matter) and everything starts hating me. Anyone have any suggestions? I tried fooling around with my BIOS and setting the IRQs differently, but only because I didn't want to feel like I was completley clueless. Even though I am. Thanks.
