Well, my p4b266-c always reports the cpu temperature as being 40 degrees, which is definitely not true (same temp at 1.6 as at 2.13 ghz) - I heard this is a universal problem with all of the p4b266's, and i was wondering if anyone knows of any bios updates that fix this problem?

Thanks,
-C.

Yes MBM does. Just use "asus 2" sensor. "asus 1" is the case temp.

It is not the problem of P4B266. It is the current version of Asus Probe, it will never go below 40 on any system. Some previous version works better.

What is Asus Sensor 3 hooked to? That one reads as 258F on my machine.... I really hope that's wrong :)

Asus sensor 2 is the CPU, correct?
