Asus P4B266-C keeps reporting that the CPU is running out of its specs, but it's running at default!!!

WTH? The systems specs are below:

P4 1.8A GHz (w/ P4 Intel HSF)
Asus P4B266-C
512MB (256x2) Samsung PC2700
Sparkle 300watt PSU
Gainward GF3 TI200
SB Live! Value
Hollywood Plus DVD decoder
80GB 7200RPM Maxtor HD
56K modem
Windows XP Pro

This is what happens, it will boot up fine and run Windows XP and apps perfect! However, once in awhile, when you boot it up it will say that the system's CPU is running out of spec. This CPU has been at default clock from the get go. WTH?! Has this happened to anyone else with this board?

I've got to check it out on Saturday, because it is my friend's PC that I built for him and I won't be in his neck of the woods until then...you know, I think it is BIOS 1002, because I remember getting ready to flash the BIOS with the latest version when I first had his system all setup, but found that the board had a newer BIOS than what Asus had on their site. And Asus only has the 1001 BIOS as the latest BIOS on their site now. Hmmmm. I believe it is the 1002 BIOS though.

Bump...

OK, so your telling me no one else here has this problem with this board. Come on, I know A LOT of Anandtech members have this board.

I have this board and I've had a 1.8a and a 1.6a in it. I've run them at default speed and overclocked and I've never seen this message. Have you tried turning off stop on <blank> errors in the bios? I think it's on the first bios screen on the bottom, the screen with the bios clock.
