I have purchased an ASUS P4B (854 chipset) motherboard with onboard sound. The motherboard came with 2 SPDIF connectors which in theory when connected to the motherboard will output 5.1 digital sound. I have all the latest DVD software and I am struggling to output Dolby Digital or DTS sound using the digital options. Sound is outputted but not to the quality (5.1 digital) it claims on the motherboard box. Please can you advise me on what to do. I have done everything that is stated in the motherboard book, I have been on the Internet and tried to access your technical reference pages but they dont seem to work.

Geforce 2 GTS 64RAM
Samsung DVD-ROM
