If any GeForce card works with the P3V4X, it's GOTTA be the 6600/6800. Notice that they're made by the same companies. Although some people have incompatibilities, because of the VIA chipset's quirks, most people get them to work just fine, even on first boot (like me).
I have a problem with my v6600 sgram pure and p3v4x,
and called asus tech support who said that the two are NOT
a perfect match. He said the v6x00 series are meant for the intel
chipset, and asus is working on drivers to get the p3v4x and v6600
to work better together.
my problem is the direct3d and opengl don't work - I get these
black triangles popping about (games and 3d screen savers).
I have all the latest drivers, bios, and directX to no avail.
Actually I've found that Asus tech support is not a terribly good source of info about the P3V4X... they are biased against it... I think because they get so many calls about it, and they don't know how to deal with all of them!
