Is 4X a good thing?

And apature size ..... 64? 128? 256?

Your apeture size should be half of how much memory you have in your system.

I got 512 ........ I tried 256 and it locked up ......

Get the newest via 4.28 drivers and install them. When it ask you for standard or turbo mode agp setting, go standard. and disable 4xagp in the bios also. If that doesn't work then woot! Reinstall winblows!
