I don't know about the issues with CUV4X (haven't researched it at all), but I will say that if you can manage not to have to use a slotket, go for it. They are an unneccessary pain (I'm using a p3v4x + slotket).
If you are willing to settle for the performance loss that the Apollo Pro 133A incurs, you might as well wait for the Asus CUSL2 i815E motherboard. Slightly better performance than the AP133A and, from what the reviewers say, top notch stability.
Try to stay away from the slotkets if possible. Too many strange issues going on with all of them and the P3V4X.
As far as performance...if you're going to start counting FPS in games and worrying about a 3% difference in memory scores go with the P3V4X...if not CUV4X.
Wait for Intel's 815? I don't think so. By the time Intel gets their act straight after the 820/MTH fiasco and people start trusting their chipsets again, you'll be ready for a new motherboard.
...You can say I have hard feelings toward Intel after spending five weeks of my life trying to get their chipset to work only to find out after the fifth week that there was a problem that was beyond my control.
