I cannot get Win98 SE to recognize my 250MB External ZIP (iomega) drive. I have the P3V4x motherboard, and it has multiple modes for the parallel port (ECP, EPP and ECP+PPP and Normal). I'm not sure if this is affecting the detection, or is my parallel port just hosed on my P3V4x right from the start. Changing the IRQ from 7 to 5 didnt seem to phase it either. It just wont detect it. Does anyone have anything plugged into the parallel port of his P3V4x and working? Thank you.

I had an Iomega external running on my P3V4X, before I sold it, with no problems. Set printer port to EPP and make sure the Iomega drivers are installed in Win98. Also you must have the Zip drive powered up or else Windows won't see it.(but you knew that right?)
